East Midlands Martial Arts have our own unique grading syllabus, developed through years of training and competing in the Martial Arts. From our roots in Taekwondo, we found that our students had much greater success competitively when cross training in different styles of Martial Art. So we bought in the best Coaches and Instructors in their field to fine tune the practical and competition skills of our students.
So, we have Boxing coaches to fine tune our Boxing skills, We Have Kickboxing Coaches to help our fighters gain valuable experience from the vast Freestyle Karate and Kickboxing network. We have a specialist Submission Grappling Coach so that our students are comfortable in situations where they might find themselves on the ground and in need of a strategy to overcome a larger opponent for example, We have our Senior Instructor who is a nationally recognised as one of the best when it comes to reality based self defence!
So with all this talent at our disposal, we created a Martial Arts system that makes full use of these skills, and developed a syllabus that is:

2. It has great Sporting applications: You should see our trophy cabinet, our Students have won competitions in Taekwondo, Kickboxing, K1, MMA, Submission Grappling, Boxing, Freestyle Points and more...
3. Tradition: We have not forgotten our roots in Taekwondo, we still teach the patterns of Taekwondo in our classes and so far our competition team has never failed to back from a weekend comp without a trophy or medal of some kind or another.
4. It is Rewarding: Their is no doubt that the students are prepared to put in the effort, are rewarded with the amazing benefits of regular Martial Arts training, such as Confidence, Physical Fitness, better Concentration, Weight loss, Self Discipline, Flexibility, Coordination, Self Esteem, Integrity,
